Exit Strategies For Small Business

Fall Date TBD

Registration FREE (see below)

You have invested a lifetime of effort, missed birthdays and football games of the kids, late dinners and postponed vacations (sometimes for years) in your small business. Through your dedication it is thriving; you have done a great job. It is time to hang up the sneakers and move on. So what is “the way out”? That path is called an Exit Strategy. You do not want to wait until the clock runs out before you have laid down the plan for your exit strategy.

This seminar will review 7 exit strategies that cover virtually every situation. It will also provide a background for you to understand a key element of your strategy: the valuation of your business. Our objective is to make you comfortable in making exit strategy decisions and to be able to communicate intelligently with a business broker. You are making a life-changing decision and it is imperative that you can deal effectively with the issues and key personnel involved.

We will cover:

  • Liquidation, buyout, merger, sell to the market, family takeover, and more
  • The four D’s that apply to every business organization
  • Key financial elements of valuation techniques
  • Three typical valuation techniques
  • The role of the business broker
